is locally owned and operated, by Mark Metz of Metz Builders.

Since our area’s market only offers interior waterproofing, we chose to offer  the only provenmethod the Barrier system, which stops the problem at its source thus permanently eliminating the symptoms while promoting a healthy atmosphere.

    The products are made exclusively for our use, therefore you won’t find the Pink Jacket Membrane or Drainage Board at the lumber company, nor can any other waterproofing company in the area purchase or install these products. In addition to the Barrier products we also include and install the E•Z Breathe® Ventilation System with each job.

Who exactly is Mark Metz?

I have had a lifelong interest in building. I graduated Williamsport Community College in 1976 with an associate degree in Building Construction. After working five years as a building Inspector I started serving central Pa as a general contractor; a total of 32 years in construction.

Established in 1997 my company, Metz Builders, has built over 200 custom homes in our area. In addition, throughout these years we have also worked with numerous customers with remodels and additions to their current homes.

After researching the market, I saw a great need for a competent and reliable waterproofing contractor offering a real Guarantee and dedicated to stopping the problem instead of just treating the interior symptoms.  The search lead me to becoming the areas exclusive Licensee for the Barrier Dual Drainage Waterproofing System.

I became a licensee of Barrier waterproofing because I believe in its products and the people behind it.  It is without a doubt an incredible system, and is one of a kind.
